    This program is ideal for the first approach to mountaineering in the Himalayas with a climb without technical difficulty on slopes to 30 °. You will make the ascent of Mera Peak, after a long acclimation to give you every chance of success.

Itinerary

Day 1Kathmandu (1300 m)

Arrival in Kathmandu, reception at the airport by your agent and transfer to your hotel. Late afternoon guided walk through the old neighborhoods and around the former royal palace in Kathmandu, Overnight at hotel.

Day 2Kathmandu (1300 m)

Tour. Starting to go to the famous stupa of Boudhanath, the largest in the world, and the Mecca of Tibetan Buddhism. Then, continue to Patan, the ancient royal capital. This city is a veritable outdoor museum with its palaces, pagodas, monasteries, temples and shrines. Night in hotel.

Day 3Lukla-Payan (3000) 6 hrs walk

Descend to the village of Surkhe and climb through forests and lodges to our camp Night in a tent.

Day 4Pangkongma (3000 m) 6-7hrs walk

We passed through several Sherpa villages and visit the monastery of Pangkongma Overnight in tent 2

Day 5Narjing Dingma (2600m) 6-7 hrs walk

Walk through the rhododendron forest and discover other villages.

Day 06Kharka Slam (3200 m) 6 hrs walk

A few climbs and descends before climbing the up zigzag grazing Slam

Day 07Panch Pokhari (4000 m) 6 hrs of walk

Long climb to the lakes. We picnic en route and descend to the camp

Day 08Khote (3690 m) 6 hrs of walk

View of the peaks of Kusum Kanguru and Tagnag (In sherpa langague black peak). Care must be taken to falling rocks near the river. Visit the monastery and celebrate for the success of our ascent!

Day 09Tangnag (4100 m) 6 hrs walk

Walk to the neck of Mera view a glacial landscape and step to the pasture where many lodges are built

Day 10Tangnag 4-5 hrs

Acclimatization day. Climb to the lake sabai tso (5000m). Very nice view of the base camp of Kusum Kanguru

Day 11Khare (5100 m) 4hrs walk

Short day’s walk for acclimatization. Magnificent setting overlooking the Thamserku and kangteka

Day 12Khare 2hrs 30 mins walk

Training for glacier walking and practicing jumar safety during climbs and descend to camp

Day 13 Mera Base Camp (5300m) 5hrs

Crossing the neck of the Mera and well deserved rest on arrival at our camp

Day 14 High camp (5800 m) 4-5hrs walk

DSlow and gradual ascent to the second base camp

Day 15 Mera Peak Base Camp 10-12 hrs hiking

This is the big day! Ascending the Mera which is equivalent to the normal route to climb Mont Blanc above 50 m before the top, mounted in a 45 ° slope. Excellent views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Kangchendunga, Cho Oyu and Baruntse. Descend to the first base camp.

Day 16Safety Day

Day in case of trouble beating acclimatization or bad conditions

Day 17Kote (4180m) 7hrs walk

Day to walk all downhill. Back to Tagnac for lunch. We descend along the river valley Hinku to our camp. Overnight in tent

Day 18Thuli Kharkha (4300m) 7 hrs walk

Descend a path through the forest before returning to the teahouses of Taktoc where we stop for déjeuner.By afternoon we go back to a small pass where it has superb views of the Mera Peak before descending to our stage , at a place called Thuli Kharka. Overnight in tent

Day 19 Lukla (2840m) 6-7 hrs walk

Steep climb to the Col de Zatrawa with prayer flags and cairns. Snowy and steep descend to Chhutanga with ice axe and crampons. Great views of the peak and Numbur Khatang in the valley of the Dudh Kosi. Arrival in Lukla where we celebrate our last night with our staff.
Overnight in lodge

Day 20Kathmandu / Patan (1360m)

Rising early to catch the Twin Otter which will bring us back to Kathmandu full of memories. On arrival, transfer to hotel and free time.
Overnight at hotel

Day 21Kathmandu (1360m)

Day beat if weather problem for the return flight. Visit of Patan, and Kokhana Bungamati. Overnight at hotel

Day 22Kathmandu (1360m)

Free time before transfer to avail of your international flight.
