Trek Highlights:
In This route in Sherpa country you will discover the beautiful valleys of Thame, and that of Gokyo with its glacial lakes. This is an introduction to the mountain without technical difficulty with the pass of Renjo over 5 000m and the approach to two base camps.
Arrival in Kathmandu, reception at the airport by your agent and transfer to your hotel. Late afternoon guided walk through the old neighborhoods and around the former royal palace in Kathmandu

Tour. Starting to go to the famous stupa of Boudhanath, the largest in the world, and the Mecca of Tibetan Buddhism. Then, continue to Patan, the ancient royal capital. This city is a veritable outdoor museum with its palaces, pagodas, monasteries, temples and shrines.

Early departure to the airport. Arrival in Lukla and meeting with your local team. Start walking along the Dudh Kosi.

We ascend the valley and cross a suspension bridge over the river. Long climb to reach Namche, the capital of the Khumbu region.

We reach the pretty village of Thame, surrounded by fields of potatoes, main crop of Sherpa country. Thame is the village’s of famous Apa Sherpa, who has a Lodge in his hometown and has climbed Everest for more than 10 times. Visit the monastery, 200 m above the village.

We will go to discover the famous village of Khumjung, a village loved by Sir Edmund Hillary, conqueror of Everest. There is a school established by Hillary. Visit the monastery where you can ask to see the skull of the famous Yeti. Great views of Ama Dablam and the sacred mountain of the Sherpas, the Khumbi La.
